Trial of Cast Lead soldier accused of manslaughter postponed

The trial of Staff Sergeant S, the former Givati Brigade soldier charged with manslaughter during Operation Cast Lead in Gaza, opened on Sunday but the reading of the indictment was postponed.
The soldier arrived at the Military Court in Jaffa with his family, but refused to discuss with reporters the incident in which he allegedly shot and killed a Palestinian near Gaza City without receiving any orders to open fire. (Hanan Greenberg)
