MK Barakeh motions to separate 4 counts of indictment
None
Hadash Chairman MK Mohammad Barakeh has filed a petition against the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court and the attorney general in a motion to separate the four charges filed against him as part of one indictment. Barakeh is being charged of assaulting and offending a public servant in four different cases.
The MK is also claiming he has immunity against such charges and asserts that including the charges in one indictment creates a prejudice against him which may hurt his defense. (Aviad Glickman)
