Turkey welcomes Israeli cooperation with UN flotilla probe

The Turkish government has expressed satisfaction over the UN's announcement of an international commission of inquiry into the deadly May raid on the Gaza-bound flotilla and Israel's decision to cooperate with it.

Heading the committee will be a former New Zealand prime minister and the outgoing Colombian president. Israeli and Turkish representatives will also be included. (AFP)
