Report: Lebanese military officer suspected of collaborating with Israel
A Lebanese military officer holding a rank parallel to Lieutenant-Colonel was arrested on suspicion of collaboration with Israel, Lebanese daily al-Akhbar reported on Tuesday. According to the Hezbollah-affiliated newspaper, the man was arrested several days ago and taken in for questioning.
According to the report, the publication was delayed so as not to disrupt the ceremonies held this week in honor of the Lebanese military's 65th anniversary. (Roee Nahmias)
