EU seeks immediate investigation into northern border skirmish
EU foreign policy chief Catherin Ashton expressed her deep concern over the exchange of fire between the IDF and the Lebanese military. She called upon both sides to show maximum restraint.
Ashton added that immediate steps must be taken on both sides of the border to prevent escalation, and emphasized that the EU supports an immediate and extensive investigation into the events. (AFP)
