Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad condemned the Israeli "invasion" into Lebanon and said it showed the "Zionist regime's desperation and confusion."
Ahmadinejad spoke to his Syrian counterpart Bashar Assad on Tuesday and told him that "the Zionist regime thinks it can repair its humiliated image, but it is wrong." He urged Assad to stand by Iran, Lebanon and Hezbollah. (Dudi Cohen)
