A Russian military jet crashed in southern Siberia Friday, but its crew of two ejected to safety, officials said.
The Su-25 ground attack jet crashed during a training mission, the air force said. It slammed into ground near the village of Aga-Khangil, about 100 kilometers (some 60 miles) north of the border with Mongolia. Air force spokesman Vladimir Drik said in a statement that it has grounded its Su-25 fleet pending a probe into the crash. (AP)
