Abbas: International pressure becoming unbearable
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said Monday he might end an impasse in peace talks with Israel and resume direct talks with the Jewish State for the first time in almost two years.
Abbas told reporters US President Barack Obama's administration and many world leaders were putting pressure on him to agree to direct talks with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has said he is ready to begin immediately. (Reuters)
