The Foreign Ministry responded to accusations by Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, who said Israel was involved in the murder of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. The Foreign Ministry said Nasrallah's accusation was a "ridiculous lie".
Nasrallah claimed on Monday that Israel tried to convince Hariri that Hezbollah was trying to hurt him. He also detailed the dates and places where IDF jets allegedly operated in Lebanese skies, the day prior to the assassination and on the day of the assassination itself, to prove that Israel was following the assassination.
