Tzipi Livni: Netanyahu sees PR as replacement for policy

Opposition Chairwoman Tzipi Livni said, "A leader is supposed to have the capability to come in a clean manner, in good faith, and in way that is right for the State of Israel to explain the justifications, considerations, and motivations for his decisions."
Livni, speaking after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak testified before the Turkel Commission examining the events surrounding the Navy raid of the Gaza-bound flotilla, continued, "In Netanyahu's eyes, public relations is a replacement for policy. There is correct policy, and the blockade was part of it. I am taking responsibility for the decisions I was part of." (Attila Somfalvi)
