Southern police chief: Bedouins 'riding bandwagon' of al-Arakib

"We will not allow this game of building anew two or three hours after we've left," Southern District Police Commander Yohanan Danino said after the Bedouin village of al-Arakib was demolished by the police for the third time in two weeks.
Danino criticized representatives of the Bedouin sector such as the Higher Arab Monitoring Committee, who he said had "jumped on the bandwagon" of the demolition operation. He also warned that every cent that the State pays for evacuating the Bedouin will be taken back in a civil suit, saying that a case was already being prepared. (Ilana Curiel)
