State to court: No woman on Turkel committee

In its response to an appeal filed by women's groups with the High Court of Justice, the State said former Supreme Court justice Jacob Turkel, who heads the panel probing the deadly raid on a Gaza-bound flotilla, said appointing a woman to the committee would be futile as the testimonies have already been heard.
