Chief rabbi: Stop non-Orthodox involvement in state and religion

Chief Sephardic Rabbi Shlomo Amar called on the government and Knesset to stop the involvement of non-Orthodox factions in state and religion issues and prevent any influence they may have.
In a letter sent to Israel's rabbis, Amar stressed that "Assimilation is destroying our people" and noted that assimilation has reached "a terrible extent" in Israel and that "no one has noticed." (Kobi Nahshoni)
