Iran executes 3 people convicted of kidnapping

Three people convicted of kidnapping were publicly executed in Iran on Wednesday. The three were hung at the town square in the city of Azna in Western Iran.
The Islamic Republic has executed at least 95 people since the beginning of the year. In 2009, the number of people sentenced to death reached 270. (Dudi Cohen)
