Labor Party director: Fire Yaalon or Labor is out of gov't

Labor Party Director General Weizmann Shiri demanded that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu publicly denounce Minister Moshe Yaalon for his criticism of Defense Minister Ehud Barak. Shiri said that if Netanyahu does not ask Yaalon to step down, he will pressure Labor to resign from the coalition.
In response to Yaalon's statements against Barak, Shiri said, "If Minister Yaalon, from his status as someone who served as acting prime minister, did not function or take the responsibility required of him by law, the prime minister is left with no option but to fire him." (Attila Somfalvi)
