Barak approves purchase of F35I fighters

Defense Minister Ehud Barak agreed in principal to the IDF and Defense Ministry's recommendations to purchase F35I fighter planes.
"The F35I is the fighter plane of the future, which will allow Israel to maintain aerial superiority and keep the technological advantage in our region. The fighter will give the Air Force better capabilities, and help entrench the State's security," said a statement issued by the Defense Ministry. (Hanan Greenberg)
