State: Extending time given to foreign children will hurt them

None

The State Prosecutor's Office says that extending the period of time given to children of foreign workers to arrange their status in Israel would hurt the children who do not meet the criteria.

"Answering the petition (asking to extend the period to 90 days) would lead us to the middle of the school year and may hurt the children who do not meet the criteria and delay the implementation of the government decision (to deport 400 children)." (Aviad Glickman)
