Soldier lightly wounded next to Gaza border fence
An IDF soldier was sustained light injuries from shrapnel after an exchange of fire near the border fence in the southern Gaza Strip.
An IDF force fired at two suspicious figures apparently laying an explosive in the area, hitting at least one of them. During searches of the area, an explosion occurred from an unknown source. Shrapnel from the explosion lightly wounded the soldier. (Hanan Greenberg)
