High court rules against extending foreign workers' time to file docs

The High Court of Justice has ruled against extending the time in which foreign workers can file documents finalizing their status in Israel. A petition in favor of an extension was filed by the Civil Rights Association, the Hotline for Migrant Workers and other rights groups.
Nevertheless, the court ruled that an extension would be considered in specific cases if documents are missing. (Aviad Glickman)
