A government helicopter crashed during a rain storm in northern Thailand and all five people aboard, including senior officials from the environment ministry, are believed dead, officials said Wednesday.
Rescuers reached the crash site early Wednesday and found five corpses near the wreckage of the helicopter, which went down Tuesday after losing contact with air traffic control, said Police Lt. Col. Sawaroj Intarawongchai. "It looks like the helicopter crashed into a mountain due to bad visibility," he said. (AP)
