Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov defended his country's decision to give Iran aid for the construction of a nuclear reactor in Bushehr.
Levrov said the reactor, which is slated to be inaugurated on Saturday, will serve as an "anchor" that ensures Iran uses nuclear energy for peaceful purposes only. (AFP)
