State media report a vehicle blast has killed seven people and wounded 12 in China's far west Xinjiang region.
The official Xinhua News Agency said a three-wheeled vehicle exploded Thursday morning at a bridge in Aksu city in southwestern Xinjiang. The report did not give further details. Xinjiang has been the site of ethnic conflict in recent years, including riots last summer that killed almost 200 people. (AP)
