US: Escaped Arizona prison inmate, fiancee captured

An escaped prison inmate and his fiancee who have been on the run for weeks were captured Thursday in Arizona, officials told The Associated Press. Arizona authorities scheduled a news briefing late Thursday night to discuss the capture of John McCluskey and Casslyn Welch, who also is the inmate's cousin.
Arizona Corrections Department officials say Welch helped McCluskey and inmates Tracy Province and Daniel Renwick escape July 30 from a private prison facility by cutting through a security fence. Renwick was captured on Aug. 1 in Colorado, while Province was captured eight days later in Wyoming. (AP)
