IDF force thwarts drug smuggling attempt on Syria border
An IDF force operating in the northern Golan Heights has thwarted an attempt to smuggle drugs from Syria. During its routine activity, the force spotted a suspicious figure on the Israeli side of the border fence.
The soldiers searched the man's possessions and found 1 kilogram (2.2 pounds) of drugs. He was taken in for questioning. (Sharon Roffe-Ofir)
