PLO Executive Committee to discuss Quartet statement

The Palestinian Liberation Committee's Executive Committee is expected to convene in Ramallah on Friday evening to discuss the Quarter's statement on resuming direct peace talks with Israel, chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat reported.

Earlier it was reported that US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was expected to announce that the Israelis and Palestinians were invited to attend the talks. (AFP)
