Sudan's official news agency says Sudanese energy officials are holding talks with the UN nuclear watchdog about plans for the country's first nuclear facility.
SUNA says they are discussing two reactors, a power plant and a research reactor, that the International Atomic Energy Agency approved for this African country. In Vienna, an IAEA spokesman confirmed on Tuesday its experts are talking to Sudan and that the facilities in question are research reactors. (AP)
