Abbas meets with Jordanian king ahead of direct talks

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has arrived in Jordan for a meeting with King Abdullah ahead of direct peace talks with Israel, scheduled to begin September 2.
The Palestinian Maan news agency reported that Abbas will then travel to Yemen to meet with officials on the same matter. (Roee Nahmias)
