PA arrests men suspected of Hezbollah ties

The Palestinian Authority security apparatus has recently arrested a number of activists suspected of maintaining ties with Hezbollah elements.
A Palestinian defense official reported to Ynet that the Lebanese organization has increased its agent recruitment efforts in the West Bank in recent weeks with the objective of committing terrorist attacks within Israel. The official said that Kais Obeid, a resident of Taybeh and one of the people who kidnapped Elhanan Tanenbaum, is coordinating the recruitment efforts. (Ali Waked)
