The Iranian Foreign Ministry said Tehran was reexamining the death sentence handed to a woman who was convicted of adultery.
Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani, a 43-year-old mother of two, was sentenced to death by stoning after being convicted of having sexual relations with two men who murdered her husband. (AFP)
