Report: Syria pressed not to impede Israel-PA talks

The Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper reported that western countries, including the US, have urged Syria not to impede the upcoming direct negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians.
According to the report, Damascus has been asked to take a neutral stance and refrain from affecting the talks in any way. (Roee Nahmias)
