IDF says chief of staff did not order Foreign Ministry strike broken

The IDF Spokesperson's Unit reported that it has yet to receive the letter written by Foreign Ministry employees warning Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi not to break the strike via military representatives stationed throughout the world.
However, the military said, "Chief of Staff Ashkenazi gave not instruction to the IDF's attachés to help the prime minister's visits abroad due to the strike being conducted by Foreign Ministry employees. Statements of this nature are idle nonsense." (Ynet)
