Likud MK: Freeze won't continue

Likud Faction Chairman Ofir Akonis said during a conference of party activists in Ramat Gan, "There will be no preconditions for talks in Washington, and the building freeze will not be continued."
According to Akonis, the Palestinians are not coming to the direct peace talks with a clean slate because they are setting the continuation of the West Bank settlement construction moratorium as a precondition to the process. (Roni Sofer)
