PM leaves for Washington ahead of direct talks

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and members of the Israeli negotiations team departed to Washington, ahead of the launching of direct talks with the Palestinians.
Netanyahu on Wednesday is scheduled to meet US President Barack Obama and attend a White House dinner with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Jordan's Kink Abdullah and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. (Attila Somfalvi)
