Denmark alleges Kurdish TV station promoted terror

Danish prosecutors say they have charged a Kurdish-language television station with promoting activities of a group linked to terrorism. Top Danish prosecutor Joergen Steen Soerensen said Tuesday that Roj-TV is promoting activities of the PKK, or the Kurdistan Workers' Party.
The PKK is considered a terrorist group by Turkey, the U.S. and the European Union. Its rebels are fighting for autonomy in Turkey's southeast, a conflict that has killed tens of thousands of people since 1984. (AP)
