High Court denounces discrimination against Ethiopians

The High Court of Justice leveled harsh criticism at unofficial Petah Tikva educational establishments that have refused taking in Ethiopian students. Judge Ayala Procaccia determined the matter was a case of discrimination which "sends a humiliating message of social inferiority which cannot be accepted."
The statements came as a response to a petition filed by the Tebeka organization which claimed that some Ethiopian children in Petah Tikva do not attend any educational establishment. (Aviad Glickman)
