State backs decision to close leaking file in Lieberman probe

The State Prosecutor's Office submitted a response to a petition filed by Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman who motioned the High Court of Justice to order the reopening of the police leaking file in the investigation against him.
The State claimed that the decision to halt probing was "reasonable" adding that a previous investigation failed to produce a lead on the leaking source. The response further stated that a new probe would create many additional suspects and would significantly hurt their privacy. (Aviad Glickman)
