State: Haredi study program based on 200-year-old model

The State Prosecutor's Office submitted a response to a petition filed with the High Court of Justice against a law exempting the majority of middle schools and high schools in the haredi sector of teaching core subjects.
The State claimed that the arrangement dates back to the establishment of the state and is based on the Lithuanian yeshiva model which was founded 200 years ago. (Aviad Glickman)
