Thousands march in Tehran's 'Jerusalem day' in solidarity with Palestinians
Thousands of people are taking part in a march marking "Jerusalem day" in Tehran as a sign of solidarity with the Palestinian struggle against Israel, according to a report in Iranian news agency IRNA.
Opposition leaders, headed by Mir Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi, announced that they would join the marchers. There are concerns that this will lead to clashes between the demonstrators and the security forces. (Dudi Cohen)
