Deputy minister: Netanyahu walking in Rabin's footsteps
Deputy minister of Industry, Trade, and Labor, Orit Noked (Labor) said she believes Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "will be the next Yitzhak Rabin".
Noked was referring to the direct talks with the Palestinians, launched in Washington on Thursday. "I believe Netanyahu has made the decision in his heart to make a big change here. He said he means to make historic decisions and that he sees Abbas as a partner," she told a cultural event in Beersheba. (Ilana Curiel)
