Peres meets Arab League chief in Italy
President Shimon Peres met with Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa in Italy. Moussa was optimistic about the direct talks between Israel and the Palestinians launched in Washington Thursday, and said he believed it would be "the last round of talks".
Peres, for his part, told reporters that the talks had begun in a "promising" manner. (Attila Somfalvi)
