Senior Iranian cleric: Holocaust 'superstition'
Senior cleric Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi said the Holocaust is a "superstition" which affects the West and the US.
"The Holocaust is nothing but a superstition, but the Zionists say the world has to accept it," Shirazi said. Shirazi, a leading Shiite in Iran, added that the truth about the Holocaust was not clear, and that when researchers wish to ascertain whether the Jews created it to make themselves look like victims, these researchers are jailed.
