Katz asks Barak to cancel inquiry into Galant document
Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz asked Defense Minister Ehud Barak to cancel the commission of inquiry into the Galant document in order to return quiet to the defense establishment.
"Following the police investigation, military and defense establishment officials have been cleared of blame in the document affair. There is no point in holding an additional inquiry. Such a commission will likely create disquiet and even result in wars between the generals," said Katz. (Attila Somfalvi)
