Peres: Arab world preferred to Iranian Ayatollahs' regime
President Shimon Peres said "the Middle East is in the midst of a power struggle between Iran and the Arab world. Israel has an interest to see the Arabs win this battle."
Speaking during a convention in Tel Aviv, Peres added that "despite the Arab world's weaknesses, it is much preferred to the Iranian Ayatollahs' regime and the danger it creates. The Iranians make anti-Israeli comments to silence the Arabs who fear speaking in favor of Israel." (Tani Goldstein)
