Netanyahu: Ongoing direct talks are only way to reach agreement
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during a meeting with Democrat members of Congress that he hopes Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will not choose to abandon the path of peace.
He said many issues have not been agreed on, and that the only way to reach agreement was via direct and ongoing negotiations. Netanyahu added that he believed an agreement could be reached within a year. (Attila Somfalvi)
