Blast rocks police installation in NW Pakistan

A government official says a large explosion has ripped through a police compound in a northwestern Pakistani city.
Khalid Omarzai, a top official in the garrison city of Kohat, says the Tuesday evening blast rocked the complex housing officers' homes, a training facility and a commercial area. He says several houses collapsed, and casualties are feared. (AP)
