Yuli Tamir says Education Ministry director took credit for her work

None

Former Education Minister Yuli Tamir inveighed against claims made by the director-general of the Education Ministry, Shimshon Shoshani, who said that since he took the position two years ago the teachers' salaries have been raised by 26%.

"The deal that raises teachers' salaries by 26% is 'Ofek Hadash' (New Horizon), and it was signed while I was education minister, before he took on the position and without his help. He has so far done nothing to raise teachers' salaries, and I would be glad if instead of crediting himself with others' achievements he would indeed add to teachers' salaries," she said.
