Israel's former envoy to the UN, Dan Gillerman, told Ynet that the deportation of foreign workers' children "will cause inestimable damage to Israel's image".
"I can say that if it happens, and I hope it won't, I will be thanking God that I don't have to represent Israel at such a time," said Gillerman, who attended a protest rally in Tel Aviv. (Yael Branovsky)
