FBI: Flight lands in Los Angeles after bomb threat

None

FBI officials say a Thai Airways flight from Bangkok has landed safely at Los Angeles International Airport after a written bomb threat was found in a bathroom on the plane. The plane landed safely just after 8 pm (0300 GMT) and was taken to a remote area of the airport, where passengers exited the plane.

Thai Airways President Piyasvasti Amranand tells The Associated Press that a message that there was a bomb on the plane was found on a bathroom mirror. Amranand says the threat was written in English with bad grammar. Eimiller says the luggage on the plane will be screened and the passengers and crew are being interviewed by law enforcement officers. (AP)
