Russia's democratic institutions are not perfect but political reform must be gradual to preserve stability, President Dmitry Medvedev said on Friday.
"We have a very young democracy, an imperfect democracy -- we speak openly about this," Medvedev told a meeting of political analysts in the Russian city of Yaroslavl. (Reuters)
