Arab media: Koran-burning plan is an attack on Islam

A threat by a US pastor to commemorate the Sept. 11 attacks by burning copies of the Koran is an attack on Islam and a deliberate attempt to infuriate Muslims, Gulf Arab newspapers said.

"This is an attack on Islam, an attack against Muslims," the English-language Saudi newspaper Arab News said in an editorial. (Reuters)
